It’s my 24th Birthday! – People/Things I’m Thankful For, and Wishes

I just want to express how thankful I am for the 24 years of my life.

I’m thankful for my friends. I’m blessed to have friends who may or may not share the same interests as I do, who I may have offended because of my frankness, and yet they have stuck with me for years. I’m thankful that I was able to keep my friendship with them for years, and I hope that I do for a lifetime.

I’m thankful for my family. We were never a perfect family, but now with God as the center of our lives, I believe we can pull through anything.

I’m thankful for my life. At a young age, I was already exposed to and affected by grave issues any family would never want to experience, up to my teenage years. I have experienced traumatizing things (not going into any details), and still managed to be strong and go on with life. Now, life just keeps on getting better. For that, I’m thankful…I’m thankful to be alive.

Thank You, God, for everything! 🙏🏼
